Guerrilla gardening is a form of direct action used by solarpunks and other environmentalists to beautify neglected urban land and break down barriers between nature and city environments. Guerrilla gardeners raise plants–whether shrubs, food, or flowers–on land they might not “own.” Such land has been known to include abandoned and vacant lots, parks, highway medians, sidewalks, other areas that are not being cared for, and more.
And yes, we misspelled guerrilla in the video. Oh well. That’s the least of the world’s problems.
