That’s because we want to ensure you always have the choice whether or not to renew your annual subscription. No surprise charges on your card a year later. And each annual subscription comes with all six issues for that year, regardless of when during the year you buy the subscription.

This campaign is vital to our operations. A successful crowd funding campaign ensures we have the funds to pay authors the pro-rate of 8 cents per word for fiction for the next year. It also ensures we can cover all our other administrative costs for at least one more year. In short, the crowd funder gives all of us (editors, authors, and readers/subscribers) the peace of mind of knowing that production is stable for the next year for at least the next six bimonthly issues.
