We just reached our first crowd funding stretch goal, locking in Issue #15 of Solarpunk Magazine, which will publish in May 2024.
Our next stretch goal is the $8,000 mark, and will lock in Issue #16. To help us reach that goal, we’ve added a couple new perks to our campaign.
For the writers out there, we’ve added a story/poem edits tier. For only $200 you get short story development and line edits on a flight of five poems or a short story up to 5,000 words. Of course, that’s in addition to a 2024 subscription to Solarpunk Magazine and a digital bag of other cool perks.
The second new tier is at the $250 level and is limited to 10 backers who will get to come on our podcast as a co-host for an episode. Our podcast has been on hiatus for the past year, but we’re relaunching in January 2024 and are excited to have some community members on with us! As a podcast co-host, you’ll have the opportunity to join us for an episode where you can introduce the story being read, and participate in our post reading discussion of the story and it’s solarpunk elements.
If either of these two new tiers gets you excited and you’ve already backed the campaign, you can always upgrade your pledge. If you haven’t backed yet, then with less than two weeks to go now is the time to ensure you don’t miss out on the great perks that come with getting your 2024 subscription through our crowd funder.
