Solarpunk 2024!

Happy New Year solarpunks! We’re moving into the new year full of hope and excitement for the days that lie ahead, even as we mourn the wars and loss of species, habitat, and human life we experienced over the last year. But we continue moving forward together in our quest to build a better world not just through fiction, but here in real life as well.

Submissions and 2024 Issues

If you’re a writer, our first submission window of the year is currently open through January 14th. You can click here to read our submission guidelines and find the Moksha submission link.

Issue #13, our first issue of 2024, will release this coming Tuesday January 9 and will be available in our shop.

It’s the perfect weekend to head over to the shop because right now annual subscriptions to Solarpunk Magazine are on sale for only $20 USD for the first year. It’s our biggest sale yet, and will only last until Issue #13 is released on January 9!

You can also subscribe to the magazine through our Patreon. And whether you subscribe through Patreon or not, you can get monthly bonus content by joining us there at one of the non-subscription tiers.

Social Media

We’re working on distancing ourselves from Twitter as much as possible. Not only has it become a toxic environment, but changes regarding paid accounts and how users are shown content in their feeds has result in our impressions and engagement virtually tanking. In effect, despite having over 5,000 followers, on average only a couple dozen people (literally) ever see any of our Tweets.

So if you don’t already, we’d love for you to follow us on one or any number of the following apps:

Instagram | Facebook | TikTok | Threads | Bluesky | Discord | Reddit | Tumblr
